Glenn was born and raised in Portland, is married to his best friend, Hannah, and has raised four talented and amazing children in Clackamas County. His spare time is increasingly devoted to volunteering with community groups, including serving as the Board Chair for Parrott Creek Child & Family Services.
Glenn's roots go deep in Oregon, with parents in Portland Public Schools, and grandparents who worked in Portland's real estate market and wheat ranches of Wasco, Oregon. Long hours, hard work, and commitment to "common sense" were the ethics that Glenn was raised on.
Glenn's 25 year career in health care leadership has always been about ensuring access to quality care--especially for the poor and vulnerable. Trained as a government and business leader, Glenn is known for building strong effective business operations, and cultivating rich partnerships with stakeholders.
Glenn's core passion is to a achieve safe and healthy community for all of Clackamas County's residents. The basic foundation of safety and health is a reliable, effective and sustainable Fire Service. Glenn is ready to apply his government and business leadership talents to ensure Clackamas has the best fire service in the State.
